Mary & Ty said their I do’s on a beautiful late Spring afternoon at Legacy Farms in Lebanon, TN.  It was our first time photographing a wedding at this historic venue, and we could hardly believe how many different picture-perfect spots there were on the property.  Spanning 22 acres of beautiful countryside, there were so many gorgeous areas that I still can’t decide which one was my favorite.

And this couple, oh how they loved each other.  Absolutely the sweetest and most genuine couple you would ever meet.  I started off the day at the event barn where Mary & the ladies had lunch served to them by the venue and then got ready, while Bill and the guys hung out in the beautiful historic home on the property while they smoked cigars and shared beverages throughout the day.

With flawless hair and makeup from a personal friend and a gorgeous gown from, Millie's Bridal Boutique in Tullahoma, TN Mary looked truly stunning. Add that to the bridesmaids in classic peach colored dresses and the guys in classic, light gray tuxes and peach colored ties, this wedding party looked like they stepped out of a magazine! We had a blast capturing all the laughter and joy from this amazing group of family and friends.

The ceremony in the court yard was just beautiful with the natural light and florals adorned wedding arch.  Everyone was smiling as Ty walked his mom down the aisle. Mary was beaming with pride as she was walked down the aisle by her father.  It was the sweetest moment.  Surrounded by family and friends, the couple confessed their love in marriage and everyone celebrated as the newlyweds shared their first kiss as husband & wife.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers at the event barn as we had fun with the newlyweds and family photos.

First dances, speeches, dinner, cake cutting, bouquet toss and garter toss followed in the elegantly decorated event barn.

Before the dance party got underway, we got to sneak the newlyweds away for some golden hour photos before the sun set (always one of my favorite parts of a wedding.) We even got some shots of the couple beside Ty’s Semi-truck that was parked just outside the barn.

The sweetest bride, a groom who never stopped smiling & dancing, and a phenomenal team of vendors made for the perfect day at Legacy Farms in Lebanon, TN. If you are considering venue options that are conveniently located in the countryside of Tennessee with lots of photo options and a helpful staff to work with, look no further than this historic venue.

Mary and Ty, thank you so much for letting the team at Collins & Collins Wedding Photography capture all of the memories both big and small.

It was truly a blessing to be a part of your special day!  Wishing you many years of joy and happiness as husband and wife!
