The Perfect Engagement Session in the Gardens of James Polk House
Bill and I had a great time hanging out with this couple and getting to know more about them. They even showed us a few of their dance moves towards the end of our session and boy, I wasn't expecting moves that involved Kaley being up in the air!! Taking a look at one of the photos above which probably makes a little more sense now, lol!! We can't wait to shoot their beautiful wedding at Flat Rock Farms in November and see what kind of moves they have on the dance floor!!
How did you two meet? Tell us a little about your love story.
We met while chaperoning a youth group trip to Six Flags Amusement Park in Atlanta, GA! We immediately hit it off and became best friends in a matter of minutes. Gaelan and I continued our friendship until we started dating in December of 2021
What is a good weekend for the two of you?
Her - We love to spend time together by watching anime, cooking, and playing disc golf! We also enjoy going to our small group and night church!
What is a good weekend for the two of you?
Him - A good weekend could be explained as productive or peaceful. We accomplish both by learning new recipes together, spending quality time outdoors, and quiet time in the house after dinner- usually with some tea or coffee.

How would your fiancé describe you?
I think Gaelan would describe me as a very dramatic, enthusiastic, and ambitious person. I always have a goal in mind and do my best to lead those around me to complete my objective.
How would your fiancé describe you?
Kaley would describe me as a picture-perfect guy; emotional stability, nice car, and ALMOST dressed as smart as her. A gentleman who is kind and not afraid to cry or treat my mama right. (Lyrics from a song she told me reminded her of me.) Kaley would say I am strong in my faith, constantly working to provide, or to wrap it all up- An athletic chef who works hard at keeping himself cordial and punctual, letting the Lord guide him even in ways he may not see fit at the time.
How do you like to spend your days together?
I love when we talk with each-other, or watch a fun comedy show, or even just take a walk outside in silence.

We like to spend entire days to ourselves (which are rare) with activities that are very calm and relaxing.

What are some of the quirky, sweet things you love about your fiancé?
Gaelan is always laughing or smiling. I adore his sense of humor and his caring attitude. He always knows how to make me laugh when I’m having a rotten day. My fiancé is a master chef and always makes an effort to create the most unique and delicious dishes for me to try.
What are some of the quirky, sweet things you love about your fiancé?
I love her inability to multitask. She is extremely smart, and very quick on her feet. However, what she does, I wouldn’t necessarily call multitasking. Her mind hyper-focuses on one task at hand until it’s almost like her subconscious whispers, “there is this other thing too” and right then and there she switches the tasks in a near panic and forgets all about the previous task until she receives another whisper.
What was your Engagement session like for you? Was it what you expected??
It was so fun to be able to act so relaxed in a setting so familiar yet intimate. I enjoyed how Deva and Bill captured a very special and beautiful side of our relationship.

It was just as I was expecting, aside from the video Bill was doing. Kaley and I had done some previous and are super thankful we have been able to capture even more memories in a very dear scenery to Kaley.
