Rebecca and Ashley's Vineyard Engagement Session
I’m so thrilled to begin the week with Rebecca and Ashley’s Arrington Vineyards Engagement Session! I have been to this vineyard a few times and shot engagement sessions and the light is always so beautiful!!! When Rebecca and Ashely reached out about scheduling their engagement session and mentioned they wanted to shoot at Arrington Vineyards, I was all for it! Also, it was where Ashley proposed to Rebecca, which made it more special for them and it turned out to be amazing for their shoot! From walks through the vineyards to climbing to the very top of the hill, to the beautiful light, this session was so much fun. Not only were the grounds at Arrington Vineyards a beautiful backdrop for Rebecca and Ashley, but getting to know them a little more was such a pleasure, too. These two have been engaged since January and they are so adorable together! Enjoy getting to know them in this post!

How did you two meet? Tell us a little about your love story.
By the Grace of God our paths unexpectedly crossed. We met at a favorite local restaurant, and from the first handshake, sparks flew. We talked for hours and found that the restaurant had already closed an hour prior. We had a date every single day that following week, with lots of texts in-between. Through extensive conversation, long walks and a few bottles of wine, we found that we had been living through some darkness. But in each other, we found that we have found the light.
What do you all do that you consider fun or relaxing on the weekend for the two of you?
Our favorite things to do is really anything together. We love to jump in the car and find an adventure, whether it be a walk somewhere, a new restaurant to try, a winery to picnic at, cooking together, having a game night at home, we just love to do anything together.

How would your fiancé describe you? (Her)
I think my fiancé would describe me as a tough cookie, a loving momma, stubborn, silly, fun, someone who wants to live life to the fullest.
How would your fiancé describe you? (Him)
Rebecca would probably describe me as cheesy, fun and always up for an adventure. I hope she would describe me as a gentleman, as I strive very hard to keep manners and chivalry alive. She would also describe me as her favorite "coffee fairy" when I pop into her work to bring her a cup of Joe.

What are some of the quirky, sweet things you love about your fiancé? (Her)
I love how Ashley can pull a song lyric or a movie quote during any conversation. I love how no matter what a crappy day I have had, he can always make me feel better, smile, and feel like I'm the only girl in the world. He treats me like a princess, better than I deserve.
What are some of the quirky, sweet things you love about your fiancé? (Him)
I love the "tax" (i.e. kiss) I have to pay whenever I walk by her. I love the way Rebecca looks at me when she tells me she loves me, and I love the way she listens to me.
What was your Engagement session like for you? Was it what you expected?? (Her)
It wasn't nearly as awkward as I thought it would be. Deva made our session fun and we could just act like ourselves

It was fun and a little silly (probably because I am silly). It was fun because we were put in poses that somehow felt contrived at the start, but very natural at the end.
