What a fun day at The Anderson Center! Wishing you all the best as you start your new life together, Maria and Riley! These Middle Tennessee Wedding Photographers were so honored to

document your amazing day!

A traditional lace gown. Blush, Ivory, and Peach colored  long stemmed roses and laid back vibes in Anderson, Alabama.

Maria and Riley clearly know how to throw a party. From the personal details (take, for instance, a mutual love of Iced Coffee and their dog, Milo who was on their wedding cake and engraved on cufflinks that Maria gifted to Riley to wear on their special day) to taking care of their guests with a delicious wedding dinner, we see nothing but smiles, love, and laughter in Maria and Riley's light-filled photos.

The decor and attire were stylish. The Bride wore a traditional  gown from  David's Bridal, pairing her look with equally beautiful long stemmed roses.  The Groom was, of course, dressed just as smartly in a dapper black suit,  but opted out of wearing a tie, which was way cooler given the time of month they were married.

Our Love Story, as told by Maria

We met each other in high school so we are "high school sweethearts" I guess you could say! We took dual enrollment classes at the Community College (located beside our high school) and became friends because we sat beside each other in art class. I pretended to need help on one of our essays and the rest is history!

The Wedding Venue & Vibes

Their wedding was centered around what mattered to them most: family, friends, delicious food, and coffee. Due to their schedules and  both being new college graduates, they knew that having a summer wedding at The Anderson Center, which was beautiful  with its white and light filled ceremony space, was perfect!

Maria opted to have a First Look with her bridesmaids and then her husband to be, Riley which was precious, joyful and tear filled.

After the First Looks, the bride and groom had a special, private moment of just the two of them declaring their personal vows to one another.

Their friends and family showered  them with love throughout the day. Riley's dad officiated their  ceremony. The amount of love shown to them by their family and friends throughout the entire day was beautiful and heartwarming.

These Tennessee Wedding Photographers Favorite Moments

There are so many small things that were included that still make us smile.

First off, the amount of love and help they received from family and friends was amazing.

The song Maria walked down the aisle to (“Turning Page” by Sleeping at Last) from the movie "Twilight". One of my favorite movies!!

When the song "Love Story" was playing and it got to the part where she sang "He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring" and Riley got down one knee on the dance floor and pretended to ask Maria to marry him all over again. So sweet!!!!

When "Rocky Top" played and some of the older guests got on the dance floor and started clogging!!

Advice from the Wedding Photographers

Do not be afraid to add in things that are personal, even if they are not traditional. Your gut (not Pinterest) will know which decision is the best for you as a couple and follow that instinct.

Do a first look (it helps with nerves & gives you more time to spend with friends and portraits). And make for great photos.

Something will be forgotten (and it will not matter). Be present. Take a moment to just breathe and take in the small delights of the day.

Thank you again, to Mr and Mrs Calvert We pray you are blessed with a joyful marriage!
