A Dreamy Wedding at Howe Farms: Kathryn and Noah's Special Day

Nestled in the picturesque town of Birchwood, TN, Howe Farms provided the perfect backdrop for Kathryn and Noah's unforgettable wedding day. The day began with the soft pitter-patter of random rain showers, casting a brief veil of uncertainty over the morning. But as noon approached, the clouds parted, and the sun emerged, illuminating the stunning venue and setting the stage for a day filled with love, laughter, and joyful tears.

As Bill and I arrived at Howe Farms, I made my way to the Pavilion, where the bridal suite was abuzz with excitement. The bridesmaids and bride were already upstairs, getting their makeup and hair done by the talented team at Elements Hair Studio. The bridal suite itself was nothing short of breathtaking—bathed in natural light, with a huge crystal chandelier hanging majestically in the center of the room, adding an air of elegance to the preparations.

Meanwhile, Bill, headed down the street to the Bow Tie Club. Here, the groomsmen were enjoying some downtime, playing poker and chess, and sharing laughs as they awaited the ceremony. A nearby pond offered a serene spot where the boys cast a few lines, enjoying the calm before the emotions of the day truly took hold.

As the preparations came to an end, Kathryn took a moment to present each of her bridesmaids with a heartfelt letter she had written. These letters expressed her deep love, gratitude, and the special bond she shared with each of them. The emotions were palpable, and tears flowed freely as the bridesmaids read her words. Kathryn also wrote a letter to her mother but hesitated to read it aloud, concerned about the possibility of smudging her carefully applied makeup.

One of the day's most touching moments came when Kathryn shared a first look with her bridesmaids and her little brother, affectionately known as "Bubba." The room was filled with love and joy as they embraced, savoring the special bond they shared. Kathryn also had an emotional first look with her father, a moment that tugged at everyone's heartstrings as he prepared to give away his firstborn daughter.

Before walking down the aisle, Kathryn and Noah shared a tender first touch—a moment to check on each other and express their love one last time as and engaged couple only joined by a promise. This intimate exchange set the tone for their ceremony, where they chose to celebrate their unity by washing each other's feet, a gesture deeply rooted in their shared spiritual gift of Acts of Service. This act was a beautiful reflection of Jesus washing His disciples' feet, as described in John 13, and it perfectly encapsulated the love and humility they brought into their marriage.

As the evening drew to a close, Kathryn and Noah stole away for a quiet moment together. They sat on a bench, alone in the coolness of the night, and read their private vows to one another—an intimate exchange that highlighted the depth of their connection. They also chose to have a private last dance, a quiet, personal moment before they jumped into their car and set off to begin their new life together in a romantic cabin in the mountains of Georgia.

Kathryn and Noah's wedding day at Howe Farms was a beautiful blend of elegance, emotion, and meaningful traditions. It was a day that truly reflected who they are as a couple, and it was an honor to capture these precious moments for them. As they embark on their journey together, we wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, and many more beautiful memories to come.

Thank you again, Kathryn and Noah for trusting Collins and Collins Photography to capture the moments that make memories last lifetimes!!!!
