Corinne and Nathan's Tennessee Farm Wedding
Wedding day’s are not defined by the details, but by the people. After Collins and Collins Wedding Photograpaher's shoot a wedding, the thing that we remember, that stays with us most, is how much love was shown and shared.
Corinne and Nathan’s Battle Mountain Farm wedding in College Grove, Tennessee was nothing short of amazing and the views were just incredible. Although windy enough to fly a kite, this beautiful spring wedding could not have been any more perfect. The first time I saw this venue with incredible places to capture a ton of amazing portrait's and knew the pressure was on and not from my bride, but from me!! I knew I had to find those areas that had that special, glowy and flattering light that I look for. From the weather to the toasts to the vows… I’m not sure we could have special ordered anything so wonderful for them!
Tennessee is a beautiful place with it’s rolling hills, meandering streams and rivers and the rocky country side. But Spring in Tennessee just adds a touch of magic, especially at a place like Battle Mountain Farm, a working 240 acre farm with dairy cows that was established in the 1830's here in Middle Tennessee. You can find their milk at the Franklin Farmers Market and in over 80 stores.
Corinne has the sweetest spirit and I just loved working with her. She looked absolutely stunning, as I knew she would, in her barely blush colored lace gown and beautifully, detailed cathedral veil. Her bridesmaids, who are some of her closet girlfriends were a vision, as well, in their matching teal colored dresses. Nathan and his groomsmen were dressed to the nines and dashingly handsome in their black three piece suits and teal ties. And boy, did those guys have a good time! Anytime I would glance over, as my husband photographed the groomsmen, I could see that they were rowdy bunch of fun loving fellows and I was sure my husband had his hands full.
Surrounded by their family and friends next to a sparkling pond, with tears in their eyes, Corinne and Nathan promised a lifetime of love together amongst the celebration and joyful applause of all who witnessed. It was such a joy photographing this sweet couple. Corinne and Nathan genuinely smile non-stop when they are together.
After the ceremony, guests were treated to a fabulous cocktail hour followed by dinner and of course, wedding cake that was lovingly made by the brides aunt. The newlyweds and guests danced and celebrated as the sun slowly set over the beautiful College Grove, Tennessee hills.
The bride and grooms first dance was especially sweet and beautiful. Alas, there were so many more beautiful moments, so here are just a few of our faves.
Corinne and Nathan, it was truly an honor to photograph your beautiful College Grove, Tennessee wedding at Battle Mountain Farm this past weekend. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you as you start this new journey as husband and wife.
