Alexis and Michael's Engagement Session
We always so excited to write beautiful photo sessions we get to experience through being an engagement and wedding photographer. It is definitely an honor to share photos of couples celebrating their special milestones and moments in life. These springtime engagement session photos of Alexis and Michael are taken outdoors on the grounds of Ellington Agricultural Center of Brentwood in Tennessee.
Tennessee is a state of magnificent landscapes including rivers, streams, waterfalls, woodlands, farmlands, cliffs, lakes and mountains. Tennessee almost has it all! For the engaged couple not sure where to have an outdoor engagement photo session, first consider the landscape you love and combine that with the season and then secure your destination.
Whatever your love story, engagement sessions can be planned for any time of the year. In saying that, I love spring engagement sessions. Spring is one of the loveliest times of the year to go outside amongst all of the blooming flowers and trees and soak up all the goodness that the outdoors brings. Birds are chirping, bees are buzzing and the weather is warming up and all of that makes a perfect backdrop for an engagement session.

Alexis and Michael are the most lovely couple. They were playful, happy, and relaxed being photographed. It was easy capturing their love for each other as they beamed from ear to ear, with their natural smiles! They met in high school and have been dating throughout college. They have been engaged since October 2020. "Michael scheduled a date in Atlanta and took me to the ferris wheel as a surprise. He proposed when the ferris wheel reached the top and had a photographer waiting for us when we got off to take pictures. He even had a go-pro with him and recorded the entire proposal! " So romantic!!
