Megan and Dillon's Sunny Countryside Engagement Session
I drove to Megan and Dillon's family owned farm, and boy did it feel like I was out in the middle of nowhere, but actually we were right outside of Ashland City, Tennessee very close to the Cumberland River. The engagement session with Megan and Dillon was fun and a little different for me. The weather was perfection, and the light was beautiful, but there were animals everywhere, which is normal on a farm, lol!!! As we were walking up the gravel driveway, beside the creek that runs through their family land, Dillon was telling me about all the Copperhead snakes he kills to keep his nieces and nephews safe, eeeekkk! I kept my eyes peeled for snakes after that. The family dogs loved to join in the shots, but they couldn't understand why they couldn't just stand awkwardly around in every shot. In the horse pasture there were beautiful wildflowers growing, so I thought that would be a perfect place to grab some photos of Megan and Dillon interacting with each other and I was not disappointed! It was the perfect place! The only thing I didn't take into consideration were the nosey horses that were all up in our business. They were the funniest things watching me, and, very closely I might add. They also photo-bombed Megan and Dillon shots a few times which only made us laugh more. It was great to be out in the countryside and just be casual! I also grabbed a few shots of the couple in front of their new house they will live in after their wedding this fall and oh, lets not forget Dillon's 1966 Red Mustang that was parked in front of the house that I couldn't pass up taking a few shots of .
Megan and Dillon are planning a fall wedding in mountains of Butler, Tennessee later this year, where we will hike up in the mountains at sunrise and shoot their Golden Hour photos!

We met at centennial park! It’s also where he proposed!!
What do you all do that you consider fun or relaxing on the weekend for the two of you?
We love to sit around a fire with some marshmallows! We also enjoy watching new movies and binge watching our favorite tv shows.

He would probably joke around and say I stink or something at first lol but I believe he would say I was easy going, patient and kind hearted

She would say that I’m sweet and stubborn. Also that I’m always making her laugh and that I know a little about everything so I’m always teaching her things. She would also tell me I’m very handsome and I would say she’s lying
How do you like to spend your days together? (Her)
Sleeping in, drinking cup of coffee on the porch. Maybe go on a little hike or just being outside at home working on a project of some kind! He’s the best partner.

Lazy days on the couch or being outdoors, hiking a new area!

I love his smile, it seriously brightens up a room. I also love that he’s never afraid to try new things and is always up for a challenge! I love that He’s always keeping me laughing with his jokes!! He makes my coffee every morning before work it’s super sweet!

I love that she’s obsessed with animals. I love that she’s always surprising me with snacks. She laughs all the time, even in awkward situations. I think it’s cute.
