A Lakeside Wedding Grace + Austen

The day before Grace and Austen's wedding I was watching the weather forecast for Culleoka, TN and it was calling for rain most of the day,

but especially around the time of the ceremony at The Cypress Barn at Miller Lake, which was planned to happen outside by the lake.

The next morning, as Bill and I prepared to leave our house with all the equipment, even though it was sunny outside, we were also grabbing the clear umbrellas, praying and coming up with a game plan in case there was indeed rain. As we arrived to the venue, it was beautiful outside, and for the rest

of day we had mostly overcast skies with a few passing showers, here and there. Praise the Lord, there was no rain on any major photo times that were

taking place outside and everything went forward seamlessly.

Tennessee can have some crazy weather at times, but through it all, Grace and Austen had the most amazing attitudes. Of course, rain is not what any of us wanted for their wedding day but in the end everything worked out perfectly!!! Their lakeside wedding in Middle Tennessee was classic, simple, and filled with so much love! Their friends and families were super supportive. Their wedding was proof that if you are well loved, you can make anything happen with your loved ones surrounding you! Grace looked stunning in her beautiful gown and Austen cried like a baby when he saw her for the first time coming down the aisle, escorted by her dad.

The newlyweds and guests danced and celebrated as the sun slowly set over the barn in Culleoka, Tennessee. Bill and I felt so very loved from the moment we arrived until we said our goodbyes. It is such a blessing for Bill and I to be made to feel so welcome and embraced as if we were part of the family!
